In 2007 the bonspeed studio was contacted by GM and asked to stylize a GMC Sierra that was trick, yet still street ready for towing. bonspeed was ready for the task, taking this crew cab luxury truck from average to outrageous.
The Sierra was stripped and painted Sunset Tangerine with a black top and a Kandy red accent stripe. The paint and the tan pinstripes were handled by our friends at L&G Enterprises. Other exterior goodies included a mesh grill, and a flush mounted bed cover.
The interior was entirely redone in bone and coffee colored leather with red accents. A brushed aluminum dash insert was made and a Sony Xpload audio/visual sound system with HD radio and dvd player was installed.
To round out the truck bonspeed installed a BORLA stainless steel exhaust and McGaughys suspension. The wheels are bonspeed Vector style with a brushed finish and black Color Forged accents. The tires are Pirelli Scorpians.
The truck was so well received that GM awarded the bonspeed studio the prestigious GM DESIGN AWARD for 2007!
